Born Ashlee Nicole Simpson on October 3, 1984 in Waco, Texas to Joe and Tina Simpson, Ashlee is the youngest of two girls. Her older sister, Jessica Simpson, would eventually help lead the way for Ashlee's success. The Simpson family moved to Dallas when Ashlee was very young.

Jessica's career moved the family to Los Angeles before Ashlee entered her teen years. Though Ashlee attended a public elementary school in her early childhood, the move to LA came with the decision for her mother to home school her for the remainder of her education.

Ashlee started dancing at 4 years old and was accepted into the School of American Ballet at the young age of 11, where she was the youngest person ever to attend the school. She suffered from an eating disorder for about six months while at the School of American Ballet, but her parents got her the help she needed and she recovered. Three years later, at 14, Ashlee Simpson began her professional dancing career by touring with her sister, who was rising to fame at that time.

The first television appearance for Ashlee was a small role on Malcolm in the Middle. Ashlee was offered and accepted the role of Simon Camden's love interest on the popular television series, 7th Heaven. Ashlee appeared in a couple of movies including the role of Clea in the movie Undiscovered.

Her first album, "Autobiography" was released in July 2004 and debuted in the Number 1 spot in the US, selling close to 400,000 albums in the first week. She began her first tour as platinum musical artist soon after the album's release.

Ashlee Simpson was scheduled to perform two songs during her October, 2004 appearance on Saturday Night Live. The first song, "Pieces of Me", went off without a hitch. When it was time for the second song to start, the drummer hit the wrong button and a pre-recorded track of "Pieces of Me", including Simpson's vocals, started. It exposed evidence that Ashlee was lip synching.

During a call-in appearance the day following the SNL incident to MTV's Total Request Live, Ashlee explained that due to complications arising from a gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a form of acid reflux. She said she lost her voice due to GERD and that a doctor advised her not to sing.

In addition to a whirl-wind, around the world tour in 2004 and 2005, Ashlee starred in two seasons of her own show, The Ashlee Simpson Show. The TV show dealt with Simpson's personal life as well as the process of her music, from writing and recording to preparing for performances. It aired for eight weeks during the summer of 2004 and a season of ten episodes from January to March 2005.

Ashlee Simpson will kick-off the "I AM ME" 2006 tour in Santa Barbara, CA on June 5, 2006 to present her newest album. With 32 cities across the United States hosting the youngest Simpson in just three months, that leaves very little time for more surgery (it is rumored she's had a nose job and lip injections) or boyfriends (with ex's including musician Ryan Cabrera, That 70's Show star Wilmer Valderrama and band mate Braxton Olita).

He adds, "It was staggering the amount of coverage that (the news of their possible collaboration) got. "I was encouraged to issue a denial, but I thought, 'Why?' I don't deny anything. Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz going smooth

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are still going around and that too smoothly. Ashlee, the American pop rock singer and song writer manages a good amount of time for her beau, the bassist, back up vocalist and primary lyricist, Pete Wentz.

Recently the couple was spotted at the Miami’s hottest spot, Club Cameo. They had come for Pete’s band Fall Out Boy’s concert and decided to stay to relish some drinks after the concert got over.

Ashlee and Pete’s bathroom make out

Ashlee Simpson and her beau Pete Wentz enjoyed a ten minutes sex session in the seductive setting of a bar toilet.

The ‘Fall Out Boy’ Pete was celebrating his 28th birthday on June 5 at his recently opened New York hangout Angels and Kings. The special guest Ashlee presented a special gift - a steamy session in the bathroom cubicle, on the occasion.

According to a source of New York Post Ashlee and Pete rushed and jumped the bathroom queue claiming that they are feeling sick.

The source said “Pete joked, ‘We are going to puke. Seriously we are both really sick’” and they both surpassed the queue for the loo.

Pete Wentz crashed with a heckler for Ashlee Simpson

The Fall Out Boy, the bassists, back-up vocalist and primary lyricist crashed with a heckler last night at a concert in Chicago.

The Rollingstone.com reports that Wentz got involved in a bloody brawl with the heckler after the band got off the stage.

According to a source “When the crowds parted, you could see (Wentz) on the floor face down. Then his body guard grabbed him and hustled him out the door”.

This fight left the heckler laying on the ground and his head gushing blood.

Pete and his band were performing at the Chicago’s rock club Schuba’s, which hosted a spin magazine party. In the midst of the songs, “a guy started calling Pete a sell-out, asking him ‘where’s his (girlfriend) Ashlee (Simpson)? And making fun of his hoodie”, a source told to the MTV news.

The concertgoer said that "They did their last song, walked off the stage and headed toward a side door to go out onto the sidewalk. But that's when the scuffle happened. The crowd surged back, then snapped forward. From my vantage point, I could see Fall Out Boy security was pounding on the guy. The guy was down on floor, shirt ripped, bleeding from ear and nose. There was a lot of blood."

However the 28 year old Chicago boy Wentz wrote in an e-mail that “The story on the Internet is absolutely false.Yes, the guy was heckling me and the band, so were other people, most in good fun. But we get heckled onstage all the time, and while I'm a jerk, I'm not the kind of person who would ever lash out at someone simply over this. I mean I'm not as big as Akon and haven't written as many good songs."

“He grabbed me, I punched him. Yell all you want at me, say whatever, but in a situation like that I will defend myself,” said Wentz.
